JCC Interested in walking the beautiful Galway and Mayo country side? Are you interested in walking with some fun loving, friendly and interesting people? If yes, then this is the site for you.

We organise two outings per month:

First Sunday of each month is a hill walk:
These cater for the very fit and experienced hill walker, can last up to 8 hours with ascent of 1500m or more. See Safety First
Third Sunday of each month is a cross-country walk or ramble:
There is limited or no climbing involved, lasts between 3 and 6 hours and is a great introduction to the club.

The outings are always varied and are led by experienced and competent leaders. The walking routes are selected to take advantage of the best scenery the west of Ireland has to offer so check out our calendar of events and get in touch.
